About the Event

Brecan Symposium

This October, BRECAN will be marking twenty-five years of galvanizing action against breast cancer in Nigeria, giving hope and saving lives. We are excited to celebrate this landmark in our history.
During the 10th anniversary of BRECAN, we hosted our first international Symposium. The BRECAN International Symposium has since then become a part of our anniversary celebrations which are marked every 5 years. This will be the 4th edition in the series. The symposium provides a quality pool of professionals from within and outside the country for robust intellectual engagement and knowledge sharing.

Why Should You attend?

One of the four pillars of BRECAN is ‘Research’.
BRECAN International Symposium provides the platform for cross-fertilization of ideas by professionals in the cancer space both local and international. It also offers opportunities for paper presentations, policy evaluation, academic engagements, collaborations, and networking. This year’s symposium will create a platform for seasoned professionals from different countries of the world to discuss their challenges and successes in data generation, management, and application, and how this can be applied in the fight against cancer in Nigeria
